2009 is set to be a great year for barrel racing in the state of South Carolina. Our state show will be in June at the Hippodrome with $7,500 added and a minimum of open award saddles. Be looking for our sponsor form as each member will be asked to raise a minimum of $25 to have great awards. Our goal is to move the state show around each year. So, the 2010 show will be back up north to keep the travel distance fair to our members in SC01 and 02.

I am pleased to announce the Sarah Hare is the new SC03 director and that Lawrence Bunch will lead the NEW SC04 to a glorious new beginning in the southern counties of the state. We broke out SC04 to help with the travel distance that our members in the southern part of the state had to travel to compete. This decision and others were made at the directors meeting in Columbia and was a unanimous decision by your fine group of district directors.
